Bethells Beach

A few weeks ago I took a drive out to Bethells Beach (Te Henga) on Aucklands west coast to photograph the sunset. While I waited for sunset I found some seaweed to photograph, turns out that was all I'd get as the sunset was a bit of a fizzer.

Westhaven Marina

It's amazing how much a small change in light can effect the final image, it's also amazing how quickly that change of light can occur. The two shots here were shot from the exact same spot only 20 minutes apart.

Waitangi Stream Cascade.

The Waitangi Stream Cascade is another one of the three small waterfalls at the Omeru Pa Reserve near Kaukapakapa, in the north west of Auckland. It is in the same reserve as the Omeru Falls which featured in an earlier post: Omeru Falls.
