I haven't had a chance to do a proper blog post this week but I did manage to capture this sunrise over Auckland city this morning.
I'd run past here at the same time yesterday and the sunrise was even more impressive. I lamented not having my camera with me but I snapped a shot on my phone (below) and decided I'd come down to the same spot the next morning.
I fully expected nothing much as the sky was blanketed in cloud. I was about to leave when I noticed a bit of colour appearing in the sky. I quickly set up my camera and click of a few frames when the sky was at it's reddest. It didn't take long until the show was over.
