Hunua Falls

It's been a while since I've been out to shoot a waterfall around Auckland but the other weekend I got out to the Hunua ranges and pointed my camera at the Huna Falls.

I imagine the Valley of the Waters got its name due to the numbers of waterfalls dotted about once you descend into the valley.

Huka Falls

Huka Falls is a thunderous 11 metre high waterfall on the Waikato river just north of lake Taupo.
