Donald McLean Lookout
A quiet day a few weeks ago found me driving through some inclement weather out to Huia. I found my way to the Donald McLean lookout, I was hoping to get some moody telephoto landscapes of the Waitakere Ranges draped in mist, my favourite of which is the image below. However, for a brief few minutes the mist cleared leaving the view clear all the way to the city and Rangitoto Island far in the distance while wee wisps of mist floated around hills that were dappled by small pockets of sunlight.
